Jonathan Owens is embracing his supportive role
Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens may not be competing in the 2024 Olympics, but he is set to play a crucial role as a supporter for his wife, Simone Biles, during the summer games in Paris.
Owens has embraced his role as a “cheerleader” for Biles, expressing excitement about witnessing her strive for more historic achievements at the Olympics. The 28-year-old NFL veteran discussed this in a recent interview with People, highlighting the thrill of seeing the hard work Biles puts in ahead of the competition.
“It’s super exciting because I get a chance to see all the work that she puts in prior to,” Owens remarked. “I love watching [it] from an athlete’s perspective because that’s how you’d be great in any sport, is just being consistent and doing the same thing consistently good every day.”
